INSTRUCTIONS  

1. Please respond to the following questions in a Word document and save the file using your name in the format ‘Last Name First Name.’ Kindly note that submissions in PDF format will not be graded and will result in disqualification.

3. By submitting your written interview, you understand that riding a motorbike and speaking the language of your district of placement are job requirements and may lead to disqualification from the interview or termination of contract if we recruit you.
4. You have 60 minutesto complete this assignment.  Failure to send within the stipulated will lead to disqualification from the assessment.

Technical Questions:

1. In development programmes, organisations often look beyond whether activities were completed and also consider the efficiency and value generated from the resources invested. Explain the following terms and why each is important in programme implementation:
2. a)Return on Investment (ROI)
   b)Cost Per Participant (CPP)
   c) Operational Efficiency

Give one practical example of how a Project Assistant could contribute to improving each of the three.

2. You are responsible for a cluster where most households attend RTV trainings, but after several weeks you notice that adoption of the practices taught is still low. What would you do to understand why adoption is low and what steps would you take to improve it? (10 marks)

3. You have been assigned a new cluster and are preparing for community entry. Describe the main steps you would take before and during community entry to build understanding, participation and ownership of the RTV programme. (10 marks)

4. RTV works through community structures such as VSLAs and Community Champions. Give five ways a PA can help these structures remain active and useful to households throughout implementation. (10 marks)

5. You are reviewing your household coaching records and notice that some records do not appear to match what happened in the field. For example, a record shows several households coached within a very short period, and you are not confident that all the visits actually took place. What would you do? (10 marks)
