Job Adverts Uganda is a free job board for people looking for work in Uganda, and for the employers who need to reach them. We list vacancies from across the country – Kampala and beyond – covering everything from graduate trainee programmes at the big banks to driving jobs, teaching posts, NGO roles and shop-floor work.
Why we exist
Too many job seekers in Uganda waste time and, worse, money chasing adverts that are outdated, copied badly from somewhere else, or outright fake. We started this site to do one thing well: post real, current vacancies, written clearly, with no fee to browse, apply, or post a job as a candidate. If an advert is on this site, someone has looked at it.
It’s free
There is no cost to search for a job, read an advert, or apply. There never will be. If anyone asks you to pay a fee to apply for a job you found here, or to pay for an interview, that is not us and it is not legitimate – see our FAQ for how to spot a fake advert.
How jobs get here
Most adverts on the site are found and posted by us. When we pick up a vacancy from a company’s own website, a notice board, or a public listing elsewhere, we rewrite the description in our own words – we don’t copy and paste. We keep the facts that matter accurate: the job title, the employer, the deadline, and exactly how to apply. Employers can also register and submit a vacancy directly; every employer-submitted advert is reviewed before it goes live, so nothing appears on the site without someone checking it first.
