About Esonga
Esonga Menstrual Care is a Ugandan female health and hygiene enterprise. We run the Esonga Hygiene Kiosk and a mobile hygiene kiosk, supply pads, reusable pads, menstrual cups and dignity kits, and serve schools and communities across Eastern Uganda.
Position opening
As we grow our distribution, we are looking for a hands-on Operations Manager to run sales and stock, lead our agents and kiosk team, and hold every outlet to one standard.
ROLE OVERVIEW
You will run day-to-day operations across our kiosk, mobile kiosk, sales agents and school and partner orders. You keep stock moving, cash accounted for, and every customer served with privacy and dignity.
REQUIREMENTS
Experience. Minimum 2 years in retail, distribution, FMCG or field sales operations. Health or hygiene products an advantage.
Mobility. Based in Jinja City and able to travel across Eastern Uganda to outlets, agents and schools.
Leadership. Proven ability to recruit, motivate and supervise agents and sales staff.
Numbers. Confident with stock records, daily cash reconciliation and simple KPls.
Communication. Fluent English plus a local language.
Comfortable discussing menstrual health with schools, parents and men.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales & KPI Tracking
Daily sales and cash reconciliation.
Weekly targets per outlet and agent.
Monthly report to the CEO.
Stock & Distribution
Stock control and reordering.
Routes for kiosk, mobile unit and agents.
School and partner orders delivered on time.
Team & Agent Management
Agent recruitment and onboarding.
Weekly coaching sessions.
Performance follow-up.
Quality & Customer Standards
Correct product storage and handling.
Kiosk presentation and hygiene.
Customer privacy and dignity.
